Brother Larry Schatz, FSC, (right in photo, above) is president of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men, which represents the leaders of all men’s religious institutes in the United States. CMSM members include brothers and priests. He has been serving as the Visitor for the Christian Brothers of the Midwest.
Br. Larry entered the novitiate in 1982 in Windsor, Ontario, and made his final vows in August 1989. Over the years, Br. Larry served as a teacher and campus minister. He was one of the founders of San Miguel School of Minneapolis and served as president until December 2007. He went on to serve as the Auxiliary Visitor and then Visitor of the Midwest District. He will complete his term as Visitor on June 30, 2019, and as president of CMSM on August 8, 2019.
